Στις 19 Μαρτίου 2010 ημέρα Παρασκευή και επ' eυκαιρία Workshop που αφορά χειρουργικές εκτομές κεφαλής και τραχήλου, ένας εκ των προσκεκλημέννων ομιλητών είναι και ο καθηγητής Jochen Werner από το Marburg της Γερμανίας που θα μιλήσει στις 14.00, στο Δώμα του Νοσοκομείου Ευαγγελισμός, θα δώσει δύο διαλέξεις με θέμα "Advances Lymphangiomas and Arteriovenous Malformations in Head and Neck", με ελεύθερη είσοδο. Η κλινική του στο Marburg είναι κέντρο αναφοράς για την Ευρώπη έχοντας το μεγαλύτερο αριθμό ασθενών σχεδόν σε όλο τον κόσμο.

The Aesthetic Society International Fellowship Program
The Aesthetic Society's International Fellowship Program – Applicants Requested
Dear Colleague:
The Aesthetic Society would like to announce the creation of our first International Fellowship Program established through a generous grant from Sientra. The Program's endeavor is to enhance the aesthetic education of young plastic surgeons abroad and promote the international exchange of information relating to aesthetic plastic surgery.
The International Fellow will serve as a preceptor in various aesthetic practices and institutions in the United States. Upon completion of the Program in 2010, the Fellow will write an article for "Aesthetic Society News" describing their fellowship experience.
If you are or know of a plastic surgery resident/fellow who is in no later than their first year after training, who may be interested in this opportunity, please share this message with your colleague.
Qualified applicants will:
Be in no later than their first year after their plastic surgery training.
Have an expressed interest in aesthetic plastic surgery.
Complete the application found at http://www.surgery.org/professionals by Monday, February 22, 2010 to include a photograph, CV in English, and Letter of recommendation from Chief of Plastic Surgical Residency.
Be available to attend The Aesthetic Meeting 2010 if selected as a Finalist for the grant (see www.surgery.org/meeting2010 ) Meeting registration will be waived for all finalists however the individual will be responsible for all travel expenses associated with attending the meeting.
Agree to front all costs associated with their fellowship (if selected recipient) and submit receipts for reimbursement up to US $7,500.

Lipografting is very technique dependent. These instructional workshops demonstrate proven techniques that ensure survival of large graft volumes. Through direct closed interaction in the OR, experienced instructors will reveal their technical tips for safety, efficiency and reliability.
To show entire process and results, workshop includes live office consultation with long-term follow up patients and patients in the midst of their reconstruction.
This is an intensive educational experience with didactic lectures and round table discussions. Invited expert faculty will bring participants up to date with the latest developments in breast surgery.

International Meeting on Aesthetic and Reconstructive Facial Surgery

On behalf of the Board of the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS) and the Board of the Hellenic Association for the Treatment of Maxillofacial Cancer (HATMC), it is an honor and a pleasure for us to invite you to participate in the first International Meeting on Aesthetic and Reconstructive Facial Surgery that will be held on the beautiful island of Mykonos, Greece, at the Royal Myconian Hotel between May, 13-17 2009.
This is one of the very few occasions that aesthetic and reconstructive surgeons meet with colleagues from neighboring specialties to share gained valuable experience and communicate it between them. This is done in the middle of the Aegean Archipelagos, in Mykonos, an island that represents the epitome of aesthetic ancient Greek culture, and the motherland of Cycladic civilization.
