Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee at the "Hand, Upper Limb & Microsurgery Department of KAT General Hospital" we invite you to the "2nd International Seminar on Upper Limb Surgery", titled "Current Concepts in Shoulder Surgery". The seminar will take place at the Divani Apollon Hotel in Vouliagmeni in Athens from the 27th to the 29th of May 2010.

The rapid evolution in knowledge on shoulder surgery requires a long term and up to date education on shoulder pathology and its treatment. This seminar will be an intensive programme concentrating on fractures of proximal humerus, glenohumeral arthritis, instability and rotator cuff pathology. Distinguished foreign and Greek speakers will try to transmit clear messages in the theoretical sessions. Ralph Hertel and Alex Castagna will also share with us some pearls of wisdom from their long experience in this field in the practical sessions (workshops on dry laps) related to fracture management, resurfacing arthroplasty, arthroscopic instability and rotator cuff treatment.

We hope that all attendants will find this seminar both informative and practical. Our younger colleagues will build a foundation of knowledge on current shoulder problems and those more senior and experienced amongst you will have the chance to discuss, speculate and answer questions on more difficult topics. We invite you all to participate and enjoy this seminar.
